Have you been looking for a nursery practitioner in East Midlands? If so you should come to Little Poppets Nursery, we were first established in 1989 and have been providing quality childcare ever since.
Our nursery has been founded upon wholly ethical principles to promote quality nursery provision. These principles are found in every aspect of the childcare that we provide to children in our nursery. This includes the staff that we employ, the food that we offer and the procedure that we adhere to.
More about our staff, food and procedure we adhere to
Staff – Our staff are given day release so that they can attend training days at venues all over East Midlands. The benefit of our staff members attending these training days is so that they can uphold the high standards that our nursery sets. As well as offering training we also set our staff targets that they have to meet by the end of the month, this ensures that we have a motivated workforce at all times.
Food – We take care in providing children with nutritious food which is prepared by our qualified individuals. Our menus are produced under the guidance of a dietician and they’re not only planned in advance but they’re also rotated on a 5 weekly basis.
Procedure – We follow the government’s guidelines for every child matters. This framework is the new approach to the well-being of children and aims for all children regardless of their background to have the support that they need to be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being.
Your child and the rest of the children in our care will be able to use the play equipment that we have. This will ensure that your child’s body is kept healthy and it also gives them the chance to interact with other children from the nursery.
Our nursery further benefits from beautiful gardens and we regularly have activities planned for each age group so that all of the children in our care can flourish and develop their confidence and self esteem.
We understand that you’ll want to find out how your child is doing at nursery. This is why we’ll ensure that you as a parent will have as many opportunities that you need to be involved in nursery life and to understand how your child is progressing.
You’ll be able to find out how your child is progressing through parent evenings and we also keep a record of the development and learning that your child is making. We welcome formal and informal feedback during parents evenings too which allows for effective communication between our staff members and you, the parent.
